The NFL made some interesting fashion choices in Week 1.

On Thursday, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce walked around with a barely recognizable haircut and shave, and this past weekend he wore a really ugly hat at the US Open.

On Sunday, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow walked into the stadium as if he was going to school.

Today, San Francisco 49ers star receiver Deebo Samuel stepped out with a very unique look for Monday night’s game against the New York Jets. The 28-year-old receiver wore a black leather jumpsuit that was adorned with bling all over the straps. He also had quite a bit of ice around his neck.

Now, Samuel does have a lot of country boy in him — he grew up in South Carolina and went to play for the South Carolina Gamecocks. This is about as country as it gets, but with a fancy twist.

For the sake of completeness: it has been confirmed that he did indeed change when he entered the field:

Samuel was part of the prolific 49ers offense that came an overtime away from winning the Super Bowl. He finished last season with 60 catches for 882 yards and seven touchdowns, adding five more scores on the ground. If he plays as well as he dresses, he should have another great season.
