NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – The drought has intensified and that trend looks set to continue as the next 7 days will see sunny to mostly sunny skies with minimal chance of moisture. Sunday saw sunny skies with highs in the low 80s.

Monday will be sunny, with temperatures reaching an unseasonably warm high as we will be in the high 90s. Tuesday will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the low 90s. And the heat and sunshine will continue to come on Wednesday as we will have temperatures in the low 90s.

Thursday will be sunny, the southerly wind will pick up and temperatures will remain warm with temperatures around 32 degrees Celsius. Friday will be sunny and temperatures will be around 30 degrees Celsius. There is a small chance of showers/thunderstorms at night.

Saturday sunny and temperatures around 83 degrees. Next Sunday sunny and temperatures around 85 degrees.
