Wings vs Aces Predictions, Picks & Odds – 9-19

The Dallas Wings have been eliminated from the playoffs, but the team hopes to end a disappointing season on a high against the Las Vegas Aces, who will have to rest at least four starters.

With two-time Defensive Player of the Year A’ja Wilson out of action for Las Vegas, I predict Satou Sabally will dominate the paint in the final game of the season. Read my WNBA tips below to find out why we’re rooting for the Over on her scoring prop tonight.

Wings vs Aces predictions

My best chance
Satou Sabally Over 19.5 points (+115 at bet365)

My analysis
Satou Sabally has only appeared in 14 games this season, but she has been an impactful scorer since her late-season debut. She is averaging 17.4 points per game this season and will need to be just about average tonight to make the Over with her standard 17.5 point prop. I am not happy with that line, so I am taking the alternate point prop at 19.5.

She has scored 18+ points in nine of the season’s 14 games, including five 20-point efforts. In her last two, she has scored 27 and 18 points, with her season-high of 28 points coming against a Las Vegas Aces team with its full starting five.

Two-time Defensive Player of the Year A’ja Wilson will rest tonight alongside three other Aces starters, meaning the 6-foot-5 Sabally can take advantage of this favorable matchup and dominate in the paint as a scorer.

I feel confident putting this line at 19.5, where we can get plus-money odds on just one more basket made. This feels like easy money for her in a phenomenal spot.

Wings vs Aces parlay in the same match (SGP)

bet365 logo

Satou Sabally More than 19.5 points

Natasha Howard More than 6.5 rebounds

Arike Ogunbowale More than 19.5 points

Natasha Howard is averaging 6.7 rebounds per game this season and has the Over on this prop in a healthy 14 of 26 appearances. She ranks second on the team in rebounds per game, trailing only Teaira McCowan (8.1), who is suspended for tonight’s game. No McCowan and a vulnerable frontcourt without A’ja Wilson make this Howard prop a no-brainer addition to our SGP.

Arike Ogwunbowale’s scoring prop is at 21.5 and I even considered raising it to 24.5 to get plus-money odds on the alternate line. Instead, I’m going to play it safe and use the lower alternate line to bolster our three-legger.

She is averaging 22.2 points per game this season and has reached the 20-point mark in nine of her last 11 appearances. LV will field reserves tonight against Dallas, giving Ogwunbowale a chance to shine as a scorer.
