The Michigan State Spartans head to West Boston to take on the Boston College Eagles tonight at 8:00 p.m. at Alumni Stadium. The game’s TV channel will have it broadcast and streamed on the ACC Network and Fubo (free trial).

Sophomore quarterback Aidan Chiles has led Michigan State football to its first three-game winning streak since 2021 after a blowout 40-0 victory over the Prairie View A&M Panthers last week. As the team continues to rack up wins, so too have injuries across the roster. On Monday, head coach Jonathan Smith announced that redshirt sophomore Gavin Broscious had suffered a season-ending injury, leaving seven players out with injuries through the first three weeks of the season.

Now MSU’s burgeoning defense will be tested by BC’s elusive quarterback, Thomas Castellanos.

Michigan State vs. Boston College Predictions, Picks, and Odds

Chris Solari, Detroit Free Press: Buoyed by the emotion of the tribute game and the confidence of two early tests, the Eagles surge and the Spartans falter early. Chiles is on the run all day, but he leads MSU back to a spirited, resilient performance that falls just short, with the Spartans set to resume Big Ten play next week at home against Ohio State with their first blemish. The picks: Boston College 23, MSU 17.

  • Distribution: BC with 4½.
  • Over/under total: 45½.
  • Moneyline: MSU +160, BC -200.

The odds for the game have dropped from BC by about a touchdown to now 4½. MSU has had some sharp action of late.

Odds provided by BetMGM through Saturday afternoon.
