Josh Lehman, the foundation’s executive director since 2021, was fired and replaced on an interim basis by Christopher Colby, founder of a prediction market startup called Alphabet. The board also scrapped a fundraising proposal, backed by Lehman, to create a new layer-2 blockchain based on Ethereum (using a software development kit from the Cosmos ecosystem).
