LAS VEGAS – What many hope will be the final showdown between Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko is in the books after Friday’s ceremonial weigh-in at UFC 306.

After months of confrontations, fights and a coaching stint on the reality series “The Ultimate Fighter,” Grasso (16-3-1 MMA, 8-3-1 UFC) and Shevchenko (23-4-1 MMA, 12-3-1 UFC) will attempt to put an end to their rivalry once and for all when they meet for the women’s flyweight title in the co-main event of the historic Noche UFC event on Sphere (ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPNews, ESPN+).

Grasso won the first fight by a stunning, surprise submission at UFC 285 in September 2023. The trilogy ended in a draw at Noche UFC in September 2023, but Shevchenko would have been awarded the decision had judge Mike Bell not given a controversial 10-8 scorecard in round 5.
