CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – The Savannah Bananas are coming to Charlotte.

As part of their 2025 world tour, ‘Banana Ball’ will be played at Bank of America Stadium on June 7. The stadium is one of only three football stadiums selected for the tour.

Details about Bank of America Stadium’s transformation into a baseball stadium will be shared closer to the event date.

Who are the Savannah Bananas?

In case you didn’t know, the Bananas are a baseball team based in Savannah, Georgia, but the games are…a little different.

“Banana Ball,” which they claim is “the most entertaining game in baseball,” is a mix of the sport along with choreographed dances, unique uniforms, score celebrations, song performances, breakdancing coaches and more.

“We are thrilled that the Savannah Bananas chose Charlotte as one of their locations this year!” said Danny Morrison, CSF Executive Director. “We’re going to witness a once-in-a-lifetime show, and we can’t wait for the Bananas and their fans to experience the Queen City.”

Fans can enter the Banana Ball Ticket Lottery immediately after the World Tour City Draft on October 3 at 7:00 PM, where they will have the option to purchase tickets here.
