    The Texas football team kept the momentum going with a 56-3 win over UTSA last week despite losing starting quarterback Quinn Ewers to an abdominal injury in the second quarter.

    In his place, backup quarterback Arch Manning completed 9 of 12 passes for 223 yards and four touchdowns. Manning also showed off his speed with a 67-yard rushing touchdown.

    The Longhorns play the University of Louisiana Monroe on Saturday, their final non-conference opponent of the regular season. The Warhawks are 2-1 with wins over UAB and Jackson State and a loss to Louisiana-Lafayette. They have yet to face an opponent of the caliber that comes close to UT, which was voted No. 2 in the most recent U.S. LBM Coaching Poll.

    With Texas a 44½-point favorite, it’s a chance for coach Steve Sarkisian to find some playing time for the reserves on the roster. Sarkisian said Thursday that Manning will make his first career start. Saturday’s game will be broadcast exclusively on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.

    The game between Texas and ULM will not be broadcast on a traditional television channel. Instead, the game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and SEC Network+. Those who already have a subscription to ESPN+ can stream the game via that digital platform.

    For customers who receive SEC Network through their cable package, SEC Network+ is complementary to that channel. Viewers will still need to access SEC Network+ through the ESPN app.
