Swift and Kelce both wore red and white. The singer wore a red gingham dress, sunglasses and her classic red lips, while the football star wore a white shirt, cream cardigan and a red and green striped bucket hat.

Swift and Kelce were later joined by Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes for the game. Patrick Mahomes wore all black, and Brittany Mahomes — like Kelce — opted for a striped Gucci top.

Before the tournament, No. 1-ranked female singles player Iga Swiatek said she hoped Swift and Kelce would show up at the US Open. But the Olympic bronze medalist was defeated in the quarterfinals by American Jessica Pegula. Pegula advanced to the women’s championship on Sept. 7, where she lost to Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka.

Swift’s US Open performance comes amid a touring hiatus for the singer. The European leg of her “Eras Tour” ended in August. She will next perform in three cities in the US before heading to Canada. The record-breaking tour officially ends in December, she confirmed.

So far, Swift appears to be spending her downtime attending sporting events, both cheering for and with her boyfriend. Swift attended the NFL Kickoff Game on Sept. 5 at Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Chiefs defeat the Ravens 27-20.

The following day, Swift and Kelce were spotted in New York City, where they went out to dinner before attending a wedding on September 7.
