The NFL era of Taylor Swift continues Thursday night when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens to open the 2024 season.

Swift will be there to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the rest of the team as they chase a third consecutive title, The Athletic reported, citing a source familiar with the stadium’s security measures.

Video footage from multiple Kansas City radio stations showed Swift’s plane landing at an airport. Videos on social media showed her waving to enthusiastic fans at Arrowhead Stadium.

When news broke that Swift and Kelce were dating, she showed up at Arrowhead Stadium to support the Chiefs against the Chicago Bears. She has been an anchor in the organization and the NFL ever since. Swift attended multiple games throughout the season and broadcast their victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.

Days before the game, rumors swirled that Swift and Kelce would split in late September after a document surfaced online. Kelce’s reps denied that there was a plan and that attorneys would be involved.

If the pop star were to appear in the contest, it would certainly help put the rumors to rest.

“She was just so open to learning the game,” Kelce said on “The Rich Eisen Show.” “I think what makes her so good at her craft is she’s so detailed in every aspect of it, from the lyrics to her music and even the releases and the music videos and everything.

“She’s so detailed and so involved in the craft, that I think she was just curious about the craft.”

Swift will be on tour this season, so it looks like she won’t be at every game, but her approval could be on some plays in the playbook. Kelce and Patrick Mahomes both suggested she come up with some plays.

“She’s a little biased and just creates plays for me. So we’ll see if she can get into coach (Andy) Reid’s office,” Kelce said.
