SBLive/SI Top 25 National High School Soccer Rankings (9/2/2024)

Are you ready for #1 vs. #2?

The 2024 high school football season kicks off this week with all-state action — and fans will be treated to a rare early-season showdown between the nation’s top two teams. No. 1 Mater Dei (California) and No. 2 Bishop Gorman (Nevada) square off on Friday in Santa Ana, California, with national championship hopes on the line.

Corona Centennial (Calif.) dropped out of the SBLive/SI Power 25 national high school football rankings this week, finishing 0-2 on the season despite the return of standout quarterback Husan Longstreet from injury, and Buford (Georgia). Austin Westlake (Texas) moves into the No. 25 rankings after a convincing win over Prosper in its season opener.

Below you’ll find a complete look at this week’s SBLive/SI Power 25 national high school football rankings.

Editor’s Note: We accidentally St. Frances Academy (Maryland) from last week’s rankings after we were given an incorrect score. After being made aware of the error, we corrected it on their team pageand we ranked them this week as if they never dropped out of the Power 25 — which wouldn’t have been the case if they hadn’t made that mistake.
