RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard campaign for Donald Trump in Glendale

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will campaign for Donald Trump in Glendale on Saturday, returning to the same city where he supported the Republican Party nomination at a rally last month.

Kennedy will kick off the campaign in Arizona with former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii. The event comes weeks after Kennedy ended his own independent presidential campaign and endorsed Trump at an event in Arizona.

Kennedy and Gabbard will visit Arizona Christian University in Glendale at 6 p.m. Saturday. They will hold a conversation moderated by Jessica Reed Kraus, who writes about the campaign on Substack and her @HouseInHabit social media accounts.

The event is part of the “Team Trump Reclaim America Tour,” the Trump campaign said.

Gabbard is supporting Trump this election cycle, but previously ran in the 2020 Democratic primary. She faced President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in that race.

After Kennedy suspended his presidential bid, Trump brought him onstage last month at a rally at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale. When Kennedy took the stage, organizers played loud rock music and lit the stage with pyrotechnics.

Trump had high praise for Kennedy, the son of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, D-N.Y.

“I’ve known him for a long time. We’ve been on opposite sides of the equation, but I’ll say this, he’s brilliant — I still think of him as young. He’s not that young. I always call him young, but he’s not that young. But he’s a phenomenal person, a phenomenal man who loves the people of this country as anyone can love the people of this country,” Trump said.
