The New York Jets have fired head coach Robert Saleh after a 2-3 start to the 2024 NFL season, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich will serve as the team’s interim head coach, NFL Network’s Peter Schrager reported.

According to Albert Breer of The MMQB, Saleh “showed up to work as usual this morning and was told by Jets owner Woody Johnson that he was being fired.

The Jets went 20-36 in Saleh’s three-plus seasons at the helm, and their postseason drought extended to 13 years under his watch.
