EAST LANSING – Aidan Chiles and Michigan State football will get one key player back against No. 3 Ohio State on Saturday night. Another appears to be an in-match decision.

Jaron Glover returns after a two-game injury absence, while fellow wide receiver Nick Marsh is listed as questionable after both sat out last week’s loss at Boston College.

Marsh was the Big Ten and national freshman of the week after a breakthrough 194-yard performance in a 27-24 win at Maryland on September 7. He was hit on the knee after making a catch with 1:50 to go in the first quarter of MSU’s 40-0 blowout of Prairie View A&M, then sat out last year’s 23-19 road loss to the Eagles out on Saturday. The 6-foot-1, 209-pound Marsh leads MSU with 11 catches and 232 yards.

Along with Marsh, offensive lineman Stanton Ramil is also listed as questionable. The redshirt freshman made his first career start at left tackle last week against BC, when Brandon Baldwin – who started the first three games at left tackle – moved to right guard. MSU has already lost two right guards, Kristian Phillips and Gavin Broscious, to season-ending injuries.

Glover had six catches for 84 yards and a touchdown while starting the Spartans’ first two games. The 6-1, 204-pound junior also missed the win over Prairie View on September 14.

Backup receiver Antonio Gates Jr., who has four catches for 49 yards in two appearances, also remains out, along with senior Alante Brown. Second string Michael Masunas and backup cornerback Ade Willie are also out. MSU’s second-stringer is also still without the versatile Dillon Tatum, and backup safety Khalil Majeed is out for the season.

Kickoff is 7:30 PM between the Spartans (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) and Buckeyes (3-0, 0-0). The game will not be televised and will only be available via streaming on Peacock.
