Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars struggled against the Buffalo Bills in the first half of Monday night’s game.

Lawrence, fresh off an offseason in which he signed a massive five-year, $275 million contract, had just 59 passing yards and an interception, completing 10 of his 22 passes. The Jags mustered just 70 yards of total offense as the Bills went into halftime with a 34-3 lead.

Whether Jacksonville’s disastrous first half was due to Buffalo’s strong play or a sign that the Jaguars are headed for a bad season remains to be seen, but fans weren’t happy with Lawrence or head coach Doug Pederson on Monday.

Trevor Lawrence STINKS and you can’t fire the $300mm QB so time for the head coach to go. Tomorrow.

Before Monday’s game, Lawrence hadn’t had an ideal start to the season, given his massive midseason extension. He had 382 passing yards and just one touchdown in the first two games of the season, which came in losses to the Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns.

While it’s still early in the year and both Lawrence and Pederson still have time to turn things around, Monday’s performance isn’t a good indication of the kind of season the Jags are headed for.
