While we’re still early in the iPhone 16 pre-order cycle — pre-orders just started today (September 13) — there are already delays that could impact how quickly you get your new Apple phone. Depending on which model you buy, your phone could arrive well after Apple’s September 20 release date, with delivery windows pushing back further into October as supplies dwindle.

We gathered the latest shipping information from Apple’s website, along with ship times posted by the three major US wireless carriers. We looked at ship dates for every color across all four iPhone 16 models at their standard storage sizes. (That’s 256GB for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, and 128GB for everything else.)
