Indiana Fever vs Minnesota Lynx Recap, Caitlin Clark Stats, Highlights

The Indiana Fever led at halftime against the Minnesota Lynx on Friday, but failed to score in the third quarter and ultimately lost 99-88 at home.

Caitlin Clark led the Fever with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Kelsey Mitchell scored 23 points while Aliyah Boston had 20 points.

Bridget Carleton hit another 3 to make it 87-80. Aliyah Boston scored a basket on the ensuing possession. Minnesota, however, hit another 3 (this time by Courtney Williams). The Lynx aren’t missing much at this point.

Katie Lou Samuelson made a 3 at 2:03. Minnesota answered with a basket. Carleton made another 3 at 1:09.

Lynx 98, Fever 88

Caitlin Clark cut the lead to 78-75 with a 3-pointer. It was her fifth of the night. Kelsey Mitchell had a 3 of her own at 4:03 to cut Minnesota’s lead to 81-80. The Lynx responded with a 3 of their own.

Lynx 84, Fever 80

Lexie Hull and Kelsey Mitchell both made 3-pointers to give the Fever an 8-2 lead to start the fourth quarter.

Lynx 76, Fever 70

The Lynx scored the first nine points of the quarter before Kelsey Mitchell made a 3-pointer for the Fever. Caitlin Clark tied the score at 57-57 with two free throws. Minnesota went on an 8-0 run. Caitlin Clark made a 3 with 3:08 to cut the lead to 65-60. Minnesota’s Courtney Williams answered with a 3 of her own with 2:45.

Minnesota extended its lead to 70-60 on a shot by Williams at 2:10. Myisha Hines-Allen made a layup at 1:31 to make it 72-60 Minnesota. The Lynx outscored the Fever in the third, 29-12.

Lynx 74, Fever 62

Minnesota opened the third quarter on a 7-0 run. If you include the end of the second quarter, it’s a 12-0 run.

Lynx 52, Fever 50

Caitlin Clark made a 3-pointer with 1:58 left to give the Fever a 48-38 lead. The Lynx ended the quarter on a 5-0 run.

Fever 50, Lynx 45

Minnesota cut the lead to 1, but the Fever then went on a 6-0 run. Aliyah Boston has 10 points. Caitlin Clark has 14 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds.

Fever 43, Lynx 36

Minnesota made a comeback in the second quarter with a 16-10 run to start the game. Caitlin Clark has 12 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds.

Fever 37, Lynx 35

Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell lead the Fever with eight points each. Lexie Hull has six rebounds.

Fever 27, Lynx 19

Caitlin Clark scored a 3-pointer at 2:22. She had 7 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds.

Fever 24, Lynx 16

The Fever started the game with a 4-0 run, but the Lynx scored the next 5 points. Aliyah Boston played a strong game with 8 points.
