Many expected Georgia to dominate Kentucky in the SEC opener, but the Bulldogs quickly found themselves in a four-quarter battle that resulted in a 13-12 victory.

UGA missed the chance to impress the nation and live up to its No. 1 ranking in its first conference game, particularly on offense. Kentucky outscored Georgia 284-262 and had 11 more first downs than UGA on Saturday night.

But the Bulldogs managed to win with a decisive touchdown in the fourth quarter and some defensive mishaps in the final phase.

DawgNation’s Brandon Adams opens the DawgNation Postgame Show by discussing his immediate reaction and hearing the perspective of former Georgia linebacker Davin Bellamy. Bellamy started for Georgia’s infamous defense in 2017 and saw a lot of similarities between Saturday night and a hard-fought win from his time at the start of the Kirby Smart era.
