A former makeup artist for Garth Brooks accused the country music star of assault and battery in a lawsuit filed Thursday.

Brooks, 62, allegedly raped “Jane Roe” in 2019 during a business trip, according to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital. According to the documents, the woman was first hired in 1999 to do makeup and hair styling for Brooks’ wife, Trisha Yearwood. She started working for Brooks in makeup and hair in 2017, a few years before the alleged events took place.

Brooks has reportedly filed a lawsuit in an attempt to block the makeup artist’s upcoming lawsuit, according to Cnn. In the document, filed under “John Doe,” Brooks allegedly denied the woman’s claims.

Representatives for Brooks and Yearwood did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s requests for comment.

Brooks and the makeup artist traveled to Los Angeles in 2019 for a Grammys tribute to R&B singer Sam Moore, the complaint said. Instead of having separate rooms, “Jane Roe” claimed that only one room was booked for them to share.

“After they arrived, Brooks suddenly appeared in the bedroom doorway, completely naked,” the complaint stated. “He stood there and flexed his muscles. Ms. Roe immediately felt sick to her stomach, knowing she was stuck in the room alone with Brooks, with no one to help and far away from Nashville.”

The makeup artist also accused Brooks of openly talking about sex in front of her, exposing his genitals, sharing sexual fantasies with her, texting her explicit messages and physically groping her breasts.

When she started working for Brooks, she was having financial problems.

“It didn’t take long for Brooks to take advantage of her financial problems,” the lawsuit said. “Brooks took what he saw as an opportunity to subjugate a female employee to a side of Brooks that he keeps hidden from the public. This side of Brooks believes that he is entitled to sexual gratification when he wants it, and that he must use a female employee for this.” , is fair game.”

The makeup artist claimed that the frequency of these sexually charged actions increased after the alleged rape in 2019.

“Brooks increased the frequency of his sexually charged conversations with Ms. Roe, and this included his repeated comments about having a threesome with his wife, in which he suggested that Ms. Roe would be the third person to date Brooks’ wife heard at least once, Ms. Roe believes,” the complaint states.

“Jane Roe” asks for monetary damages and a jury trial.
