Frank Fritz dies at the age of 60: American Pickers star dies two years after a stroke

Former American Pickers star Frank Fritz has died at the age of 60, according to his family.

Fritz, part of the duo from the original series, suffered a stroke in 2022.

‘This is a very difficult announcement to have Frank pass away last night around half past six. He was surrounded by me, Mike Wolfe was speeding to get back here from Nashville and other friends,” read a post on Fritz’s Facebook account on Tuesday.

“Please understand that this is a very difficult time for us. Including Mike, so be nice as we try to figure out how to deal with this. Thank you all for your love and support over the years.”

Fritz’s former co-star Mike Wolfe confirmed his death on Tuesday.

“It is with a broken heart that I share with you all that Frank passed away last night,” Wolfe wrote on Instagram.

“We have made countless trips and shared so many miles and I feel blessed to have been by his side as he made one final journey home. I love you buddy and will miss you so much. I know you are in a better place.”

Rumors of Fritz’s death circulated on social media earlier this year, with his friend denying the claims.

Fritz’s co-star Danielle Colby also posed a tribute to the late star.

“Frank, I will miss your ability to make everyone laugh, your love for talking tattoos, your epic collections, but what I will miss most are those little glimpses of vulnerability from time to time,” Colby wrote.

“Frank, you loved your cat and your mother and we bonded over those things. You will be missed for all these reasons and many more. Rest in peace Road Dog.”
