Dak Prescott’s girlfriend celebrates Cowboys QB’s $240 million deal

Dak Prescott’s biggest fan celebrates the Cowboys’ new $240 million player.

Hours after Dallas made Prescott (31) the highest-paid player in league history with a massive four-year contract extension on Sunday, Sarah Jane Ramos wrote a heartfelt message to her quarterback boyfriend on her Instagram Stories.

“The most deserving man and the best partner and father, we love you,” Ramos wrote alongside a photo of Prescott in his Cowboys uniform.

Prescott and Ramos were first linked in 2023 and welcomed daughter Margaret Jane Rose in February.

One of the biggest storylines heading into the 2024 season was if and when a contract extension would be reached with Prescott.

The three-time Pro Bowler said in May that he doesn’t play “for the money,” but for the passion of the game.

“I played a game out of pure love for the guys in that locker room. Yeah, this game has always given me something that not a lot of things in life do. That kind of peace, that’s what it does. Just being there between the lines with people that you share a brotherhood with. Yeah, something that’s just special about this football game and we’re just blessed to have that money come along with it, and I’m in the position that I’m in that we can have these conversations,” Prescott said Thursday, according to the Cowboys’ website.

The deal, which includes $231 million guaranteed and an $80 million signing bonus, was completed before the Cowboys’ season opener on Sunday against the Browns in Cleveland.

Prescott was selected in the fourth round by Mississippi State in 2016 and is now entering his ninth season in Dallas.

Despite leading the Cowboys to a 12-5 regular season record and an NFC East title last year, Dallas was eliminated from the playoffs in January after an embarrassing wild-card loss to the Packers at home.

The Cowboys have opted to retain head coach Mike McCarthy this offseason, but his contract as coach is expiring.

Prescott finished with 4,516 yards, 36 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 17 regular season appearances this past season.
