Classes resume as Las Vegas police investigate rumors of threat at Durango High School

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Classes have resumed at Durango High School after police investigated a rumor of a threat early Friday morning.

In a parent letter obtained by FOX5, Assistant Principal MJ Park said staff and students were evacuated to the football field while police investigated the threat. Details about the nature of the threat were not immediately provided.

Park added that schools have restarted and classes will resume normally.
