Boise State improves to 4-1 after beating Utah State

Boise, Idaho (CBS2) – There is a lot of excitement surrounding Boise State football. The Broncos are 4-1 on the season after beating Utah State 62-30 on Saturday night at Albertsons Stadium.

Ashton Jeanty finished the night with 186 rushing yards and three touchdowns. That all came in the first half. He sat out the second half as the Broncos had a big lead.

Maddux Madsen had another impressive night going 21/25 for 256 yards and three touchdowns.

37,210 fans watched the game at Albertsons Stadium on Saturday night. Boise State says it’s the fifth largest crowd in history.

Boise State will play Hawaii in Honolulu next Saturday at 9 p.m. The Broncos play UNLV on October 25.

Boise State’s next home game is Saturday, November 1 against San Diego State. The kick-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
