2. Let James cook

After failing to score a touchdown in the first week, RB James Cook managed three shots in the first half, twice on the ground and once through the air.

After Ingram’s first interception, the Bills took over at the Dolphins’ 37-yard line. The offense began moving the ball down the field and found itself in a fourth-down-and-three situation. On the ensuing play, QB Josh Allen threw the ball short to Cook, who ran it 17 yards for the touchdown.

After both teams took turns kicking the ball, the offense, aided by an unnecessary roughness flag, found itself driving the ball again. Allen got into foul trouble on third-and-twelve and found RB Ty Johnson downfield, giving the offense first-and-goal from the one-yard line. Cook then ran the ball in on the next play.

On his third touchdown of the first half, Cook broke loose up the middle, ran 49 yards, evaded a would-be tackle by S Jordan Poyer and bounded the ball into the end zone.
