Lincoln police are investigating an aggravated assault near Canopy and Q Street in the Haymarket last night following a concert at PBA.

Officers were monitoring concert traffic when numerous shots were heard. A 19-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his extremity. He is in the hospital with what is considered a non-life-threatening injury, Lincoln Police Capt. Duane Winkler said.

The LPD believes there is no danger to the public and asks anyone with information to contact the non-emergency number 402 441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402 475-3600.
