    The road to 28 has officially begun and begins… and may end at Yankee Stadium.

    The New York Yankees are the top seed in the American League portion of the Major League Baseball postseason bracket and they will face a Central Division gauntlet: the Yankees will face the Kansas City Royals for a rekindle long-standing AL rivalries as the Cleveland Guardians battle the Detroit Tigers.

    On the other hand, the Yankees’ counterparts from Queens, the New York Mets, face the Philadelphia Phillies, while the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres complete the quartet.
