Western North Carolina is experiencing an unmitigated catastrophe. In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, cities have been destroyed, roads have been washed away, people are frantically trying to locate their loved ones and dozens have been killed. Enter Donald Trump, who just declared that the federal government — and Democratic Governor Roy Cooper — are deliberately neglecting MAGA parts of the state, and charged that the Biden administration is deliberately allowing Americans to drown.
