LINCOLN, Neb. — The Nebraska Corn Board (NCB) and the Nebraska Corn Growers Association (NeCGA) are preparing to welcome visitors to Grand Island, Nebraska, for Husker Harvest Days, known as the world’s largest fully irrigated working agricultural show.

Building partnerships and adding value to products is important in all segments of agriculture. Nebraska corn, sorghum, soybean and wheat producers are teaming up in one location with their exhibits at this year’s Husker Harvest Days Farm Show.

Visitors can learn about the latest developments in agriculture and gather new information at the Ag Commodities Building on Main Street. The eight groups in the Ag Commodities Building will also communicate programmatic opportunities and the importance of agricultural commerce within their commodities. Discover how Nebraska commodities are made in America and raised in Nebraska.

The entities participating in the joint effort are: Nebraska Corn Board (NCB), Nebraska Corn Growers Association (NeCGA), Nebraska Grain Sorghum Board (NGSB), Nebraska Sorghum Producers Association (NeSPA), Nebraska Soybean Association (NSA), Nebraska Soybean Board (NSB), Nebraska Wheat Board (NWB), and the Nebraska Wheat Growers Association (NWGA).

Farmers representing NCB and NeCGA will be on hand during Husker Harvest Days to discuss key initiatives that will increase demand, add value, and ensure sustainability for Nebraska’s corn industry. During the visit, attendees are encouraged to grab an ice-cold can of Coca-Cola or Doritos (two of the many uses for Nebraska Corn), learn about the Nebraska Corn producer campaign, and sign up or renew your NeCGA membership to continue advocating for Nebraska’s corn industry.

“A large event like Husker Harvest Days gives us the opportunity to build new relationships and cultivate existing ones,” said Chris Grams, NeCGA President. “Looking at the work of Nebraska Corn, this is a great opportunity to connect with members, leadership and staff. We encourage attendees to visit the commodity building and connect about programs and projects that benefit farmers.”

The Nebraska Corn Board (NCB) and the Nebraska Corn Growers Association (NeCGA) are located in the Ag Commodities Building on the east side of Main Street at the fairgrounds.

Husker Harvest Days will take place September 10-12 in Grand Island. Open daily from 9am-4pm.
