“Loud” is an understatement for the atmosphere here at Ford Field.

Los Angeles struggled early with pass protection for quarterback Matthew Stafford. An opening three-and-out featured Stafford shaking his feet and making quick throws, plus some reliable Cooper Kupp connections (he finished the first quarter with five catches on five targets for 26 yards). Steve Avila and Jonah Jackson, still figuring out their relatively new left guard/center combination, gave up a sack that eventually led to a field goal.

The Rams need to shore up both sides of their defense or they’re in for a long night.
