US Open 2024: news, how to watch and everything you need to know

The final major championship of the 2024 season, the US Open, begins on August 26, with Coco Gauff and Novak Djokovic attempting to defend their 2023 titles.

Djokovic and Qinwen Zheng won gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics, while Carlos Alcaraz and Barbora Krejcikova won the previous major of the season at Wimbledon.

Can Djokovic extend his record number of majors? Will Alcaraz add another Grand Slam to his tally? Can Gauff win her second career major?

Fans can watch starting at 12:00 p.m. ET on August 26 on ESPN and starting at 11:00 a.m. ET on the ESPN app via the ESPN Streaming Center through the end of the game on September 8.

The ESPN app will become the all-in-one streaming service for the US Open.
