Best ATP Olympics Bets Including Djokovic vs Koepfer

ATP Olympic Games 1/8 Finals

Baez – Tsitsipas: 31.07.2024 Time TBA
H2H: 0-2

Sebastian Baez has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Kitzbuhel, Baez reached the quarterfinals, where he lost to Gaston in three exciting sets. Here in Paris, Sebastian lost his first round match against Monteiro in straight sets. Baez was great under pressure and saved all seven break points. Then, in the second round, Sebastian had a tough time against Benjamin Hassan. Baez won that match in three exciting sets. Sebastian even had to save one break point in the deciding set.

Stefanos Tsitsipas has won four of his last five matches. Ten days ago in Gstaad, Stefanos lost his semi-final against Berrettini in straight sets. Here in Paris, Tsitsipas won his first round match against Bergs in three sets. Stefanos was on court for more than two hours. In the second round, Stefanos dominated from the start against Dan Evans. He eventually won the match 6-1 6-2. Tsitsipas offered no break points and served well throughout the match.

Best bet to make

According to the bookmakers, Baez is the big underdog in this matchup. Sebastian is a very solid clay court player, so we believe he will do well against Stefanos. Tsitsipas is clearly the favorite, but Baez should be able to keep this match exciting.

That being said, If Baez covers the match handicap, it’s a worthwhile bet.

Value bet / best odds: Sebastian Baez +4.5 games handicap @1.83 @bet365

Djokovic – Koepfer: 31.07.2024 Time TBA
H2H: 1-0

Novak Djokovic has won four of his last five matches. Here in Paris, Novak absolutely dominated against Ebden in his first round match as we predicted. In the second round, Novak easily defeated Rafael Nadal in straight sets. Nadal looked exhausted on the court and didn’t offer much. Nole was 4-0 up in the second set but lost his serve twice. Novak however kept his cool and finished the match in straight sets. Something we don’t say often, but Novak has yet to win a title this season. He is fully focused on the Olympics, as that is the only tournament he has ever won.

Dominik Koepfer has won three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Hamburg, Baez lost his first round match against Baez in straight sets. Here in Paris, Dominik won his first round match against Raonic after three tiebreaks. In the second round, Koepfer surprised Arnaldi in a rollercoaster match. Both players made many unforced errors and it was generally a low-quality match.

Best bet to make

According to the bookmakers, Novak is the big favorite in this matchup. Koepfer has already spent a lot of time on the court in his first two matches. Novak, on the other hand, won both matches without any problems. We believe that Djokovic will easily do the job against Koepfer tomorrow.

That being said, If Djokovic covers the match handicap, it’s a worthwhile bet.
