Welcome back. There are all sorts of people who come together to make a wrestling show work, and some of them have nothing to do with wrestling itself. These are the people who make the fan experience better along the way, which can be easier said than done. Now, one of them is back in WWE after a long time away, at least for a brief appearance.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Nice choice: WWE adds special addition to Summerslam

This week’s Monday Night Raw featured a cameo appearance from WWE Hall Of Famer Jesse The Body Ventura, who showed up backstage and hugged WWE CCO Triple H. Ventura did not speak during the appearance, and there is no word on if he will appear again. This comes after Ventura recently said that he is in negotiations to return to WWE on a Legends deal. He last worked full-time for WWE in 1990.

He has a history. Watch Ventura in WWE:

Opinion: Maybe it’s the old school WWF fan in me, but there’s something so cool about seeing Ventura return to WWE for once. You don’t see that very often, as it’s been over thirty years since he’s been in the running full-time. While this probably won’t be a Ventura-related thing, even remotely regular, I’ll take a one-time appearance, just for old times’ sake.

What do you think about the return? What could Ventura do in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
