‘Wordle’ #1,175 Answer, clues and hints for Friday September 6 Game

Friday is finally here – and so is another Wordle puzzle.

If you need help finding today’s answer, you’ve come to the right place because Newsweek has collected five hints to help you figure it out. Be careful if you want to figure it out yourself, because the answer is further down.

The word puzzle, created by Brooklyn software developer Josh Wardle, immediately attracted worldwide attention when it became available to the general public. Wordle grew rapidly, from 91 players in November 2021 to over 2 million in January 2022. This remarkable success caught the attention of The New York Timeswhich acquired the game in January 2022 for an undisclosed seven-figure sum.

If you’ve never played before Wordle Previously, players were given six chances to guess the daily five-letter word, and feedback was provided to help pin it down. A green box indicates that the letter was guessed correctly, a yellow box indicates that you guessed a letter that is in the word but not in the correct place, and a gray box indicates that the letter is not in today’s word.

At midnight a new word appears in players’ time zones, but if one game a day isn’t enough for you, The New York Times now offers subscribers access to over 1,000 previous puzzles from the official Wordle archive on the web and in the News from the New York Times Games app.

Tip #1: Today Wordle is a verb and a noun.

Tip #2: There is one repeated letter.

Tip #3: The word contains two vowels.

Tip #4: Today’s answer consists of two syllables.

Tip #5: A synonym for the word is ‘repeat’.

The answer to today’s question Wordle is “repetition.”

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the verb definition is “to re-enact or re-do” and the noun is defined as “the act or action or an instance of re-enacting. Especially: a film or television show that is re-enacted.”
