It was a sensational Thursday evening.

Virtually everything went in favor of the Jets during their 24-3 decimation of the Patriots on “Thursday Night Football” in Week 3.

Aaron Rodgers was in top form, completing 27 of 35 plays for 281 yards and two touchdowns while throwing the ball to his receivers with pinpoint accuracy.

The Jets’ pass rush also looked fine without Haason Reddick, who is still under contract.

Will McDonald IV led the Jets with two sacks and the pressure was constant as they sacked the New England quarterbacks a whopping seven times.

A win like that against a Patriots team that had started better than expected can raise fan expectations, even this early in the season.
