What Happened to Colin Jost’s Toes? Olympic Surf Journalist Injured in Tahiti

Colin Jost, known for his role on “Saturday Night Live” and now a sports journalist for the Olympic Games in Paris, is causing a stir in Tahiti because of his torn toes.

What did Colin Jost do to his toes?

The Weekend Update presenter injured his toes while covering the surfing competition at the 2024 Olympic Games in Tahiti.

The comedian and avid surfer cut his foot on rocks while trying to ride the waves, leaving him with a bleeding wound.

During Monday night’s Olympic broadcast, Scarlett Johansson’s husband Jost showed off his bandaged toes and joked that he spent more time in the medical tent than the surfers he beat.

It’s not the first time the funnyman has had a high-profile accident while surfing.

In 2014, Jost was rescued by the late Jimmy Buffett after becoming pinned against rocks by his surfboard oar.

Buffett, who was nearby, cut Jost free with a knife, allowing him to swim back to shore.
