Below is coach KDB’s press conference after Saturday night’s devastating win over USF.

For the second straight year, the Bulls’ speedy, athletic defensive line gave ‘Bama the creeps. And the Tide offense didn’t help matters with an ungodly nine O-line penalties and three stupid turnovers. KDB also learned the lesson that Alabama coaches have to accept at some point: Officials screw us in our house, too.

Coach DeBoer, who we now consider the laid-back hero of New Alabama, was anything but that. He railed against the group of players at various points throughout the evening.

In his 15-minute speech, the coach talked about penalties, line play, the need to drive the ball and be patient, the excellent Tide red zone defense, and more. We saw a different side of KDB tonight — a frustrated, animated, and even angrier side.

But if it’s any consolation: Saban also had trouble with this annoying team, right?
