The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are fighting for their lives against the Detroit Lions pass rush, meaning Baker Mayfield has to improvise.

His final improvisation was an extended play that involved maneuvering around the pocket. With the pressure mounting, Mayfield decided to hold it and run it in for a touchdown from 11 yards.

That 11-yard touchdown run for the former number one overall pick was the longest of his NFL career.

Mayfield’s score gave the Bucs a 16-13 lead over the Lions going into the fourth quarter. As we said, the pressure on Mayfield was intense throughout the game, especially from Aidan Hutchison of the Detroit Lions.

As it stands, the Bucs will be without Luek Goedeke today, as they gave up five sacks to Hutchison alone.
