The Detroit Lions are about to get a new fan.

Rather, they’re about to get a new Stan.

Eminem has released the music video for his song Temporary on Thursday, and it includes a video clip of his daughter, Hailie, presenting him with a blue No. 1 Lions jersey with the word “Grandpa” on the name tag (four minutes):

The emotional track is dedicated to Hailie and features home video footage from when she was younger, footage from her wedding and the full-circle moment when the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer realizes his daughter is about to have her own child.

Eminem is one of the Lions’ most public fans, especially in recent years.

HBOs Hard knocks documented his visit to the team facility ahead of the 2022 campaign, he helped open the 2024 NFL draft in Detroit by standing on stage with commissioner Roger Goodell, and he attended multiple playoff games during their leading up to last season’s NFC Championship Game.

The rapper even greeted San Francisco 49ers fans like only he could during that game:

While Detroit fell short of the Super Bowl with a 34-31 loss to San Francisco, it is once again on the short list of Lombardi Trophy contenders this season. And the future looks bright too with a collection of stars including Aidan Hutchinson, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam LaPorta and Jahmyr Gibbs.

Soon, Eminem will have a new family member who can watch future Lions games with him.
