USF fans fill Raymond James Stadium as Bulls take on Miami

TAMPA, Fla. — Saturday marked the first time the South Florida Bulls and Miami Hurricanes met since 2013, and fans were out in force outside Raymond James Stadium.

“USF football is definitely back. It’s a really exciting experience. The student body is really excited to have a great football team again,” Nathan Coffin shared.

The university has announced that the groundbreaking for the stadium will be the week of USF’s homecoming, in mid-October 2024.

“It will be easy to get to our stadium. We don’t have to go 30 minutes from campus. It will be there, we can all just walk to the stadium. No more Ubers!”, added Antonio Holmberg.

Fans who love to support the Bulls said there is nothing that can match the college football experience.

“I think this is a unique experience, especially in a state like Florida. We get to experience this together!” said Heather Schofield.

“I’m just happy that USF is getting their fans back. The school spirit is back. We have a full house tonight. I’m excited to see that. Everyone’s here to support us. It’s great to see the football program grow,” Logan Buggy said.

“You will see a big improvement in traffic flow in this area,”
