Ugly Raiders-Chargers late-game fight leads to two evictions

The Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders can’t stand each other and it was clear on Sunday.

The two teams battled late in the fourth quarter after the Raiders stopped a Chargers two-point conversion. Multiple players were involved, punches were exchanged, and things got ugly before they separated.

Raiders cornerback Jack Jones and Chargers receiver Joshua Palmer were both ejected after officials met and discussed the matter, ending with compensatory penalties.

All of this came after the Chargers went the distance to take a 22-10 lead with 3:40 left in the game. Both teams had struggled on offense all day, and the Raiders, led by quarterback Gardner Minshew, hadn’t made much noise when they had the ball.

It was clear that frustration was running high on both teams.
