Alex Pereira will face his final test as light heavyweight king as he battles Khalil Rountree in the hard-fought main event of UFC 307 this weekend.

Headlining the promotion’s return to Salt Lake City, ‘Poatan’ will be eager to continue his dominant reign as champion, which first began with a knockout win over Jiri Prochazka at UFC 295.

It will be Rountree’s first appearance since serving a four-month suspension for a failed drugs test, and “The War Horse” will no doubt be desperate to dispel doubters by delivering an eternal shock upon his return.

In the co-main event, Raquel Pennington will defend her bantamweight title for the first time since securing the title at UFC 297, taking on former champion Julianna Pena, who is eager to regain the throne.

Elsewhere on the main card, Kevin Holland kicks things off in an exciting middleweight bout with Georgian fighter Roman Dolidze, while the likes of Jose Aldo and Kayla Harrison are also in action.

This event is so stacked that fan favorite Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson has been relegated to the prelims, where he will face Joaquin Buckley in a highly anticipated welterweight bout.

When is UFC 307?

UFC 307 takes place on Saturday, October 5 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.

The early prelims start on Sunday at 12:30 BST (4:30 PM PT / 6:30 PM CT / 7:30 PM ET on Saturday), followed by the preliminaries on Sunday at 1:00 AM BST (5:00 PM PT / 7:00 PM CT / 8:00 PM ET on Saturday ) . The main card is then scheduled for 3am BST on Sunday (7pm PT / 9pm CT / 10pm ET on Saturday).

How can I view it?

The card will be broadcast live on TNT Sports in the UK, with the broadcaster’s app and website also streaming the fights. Discovery+ will also broadcast the promotion in Great Britain. In the US, ESPN+ will stream the event live, as will the UFC’s Fight Pass.
