Trump and RFK Jr. Camps in ‘talks,’ no commitment yet

from CNN Kristen Holmes reported Friday morning that there are ongoing “high-level discussions” between the former president Donald Trump And Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s camps, while there is speculation that the latter will support the former later in the day, no one has yet “committed” to anything.

“In a few hours, we’re going to hear that RF Kennedy — RFK Jr. is expected to suspend his campaign. And there are high-level conversations between his office and Donald Trump’s office about RFK endorsing Trump, but no one has committed to that yet,” Holmes began, before playing a clip of Trump insisting he has “no idea” whether Kennedy plans to endorse him on Thursday night.

“We happen to be in the same state, Arizona. We’ll be in the same state, but in very different parts of the state. But it’s possible that we could meet tomorrow and discuss it,” Trump said.

“Okay, so it’s very vague, he says he has no idea, he might meet RFK, but yet his campaign has put this out there. And I think we’re going to look it up for you here, this is a full-screen commercial for the event that’s just outside of Phenix, where we are, with a shadowy figure and says there’s going to be a surprise special guest, and the campaign has been promoting this heavily. So if it’s not RFK, they’re certainly trying to make it seem like it is,” Holmes continued. “Now I want to mention one thing here, because there are a lot of questions about RFK’s controversial campaign, and just some of the things that have happened since he ran for office. He admitted that he had a parasitic brain worm that had died in his brain and caused brain fog. He avoided questions, and in a Vanity Fair article, there were allegations of sexual abuse by a former nanny. At one point we found out that he had actually put a bear cub carcass in Central Park.”

Still, Holmes said, “the question of whether or not he can move this race is still very real.”

“And I want to tell you something about the state of Arizona. Right now, RFK is polling at 6%. Donald Trump’s team doesn’t believe that he’s going to get a full 6% if he gets RFK’s endorsement. But what they do believe is that this election is going to be decided by razor-thin margins,” she concluded. “And any of that 6% that they could get could determine his fate, Donald Trump’s fate, in a state like this.”
