UPDATE: Sophie Barker, the Fidi teen who went missing Thursday morning, was found Friday at 3 p.m. at the Seward Park Library on East Broadway and Clinton. The security guard there reported her to the local police station and she was taken from the library by ambulance, her mother said.

A teenager who lives on William Street has been missing since she went for a cup of coffee yesterday morning, her parents reported. Her name is Sophie Barker, but she will respond to Sophie or Rosa. Her parents said she may appear disoriented because she is at risk medically and has missed at least one dose of her medication. They filed a missing persons report yesterday.

She was last seen by her parents at 10:40 yesterday morning, wearing a black tank top, jeans, and white sneakers with red trim, carrying a brown leather bag — she had some cash on her, but not much. She was then spotted on William and Fulton at 11:00 a.m. on video footage obtained by the NYPD.

She attends Beacon School in Midtown, Manhattan High School, but it’s clear school hasn’t started yet.
