Time, TV for week 1 Sunday games

The five-day celebration of Week 1 of college football is still in full swing.

While the vast majority of Week 1’s schedule was played on Saturday, there is still football to be played on Sunday and Monday. Each of those games will feature teams that could potentially contend for the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff.

That starts with the final top-25 matchup of the Week 1 schedule, between No. 12 LSU and No. 23 USC in Las Vegas. Then, No. 10 Florida State — which also played in the season’s first game in Week 0 — closes out the Week 1 schedule with a Monday night game against ACC opponent Boston College.

College Football Games Today

  • Competition: No. No. 12 LSU vs. No. 23 USC (Las Vegas)
  • Time: 7:30pm ET
  • TV channel: ABC

The lone college football game on Sunday is the top-25 matchup between No. 12 LSU and No. 23 USC. The Tigers and Trojans — both of whom are looking to replace the 2024 Heisman Trophy winners at quarterback — play in the Modelo Vegas Kickoff Classic at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas (home of the NFL’s Raiders franchise).

The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET on Sunday. The game will be broadcast nationally on ABC, but can also be streamed on ESPN+ and Fubo, the latter of which offers a free trial and includes ABC as part of the package.
