They celebrated their 10th anniversary in August, but now Cheryl Hines and Robert Kennedy Jr. have been hit by scandal again.

New York magazine has launched an investigation into its star Washington correspondent, Olivia Nuzzi, after she revealed a “personal” relationship with one of her reporters, who turned out to be RFK Jr.

The 31-year-old author was suspended on Thursday because she “may have damaged the trust of readers,” her boss wrote in a memo leaked by her employees and shared on X.

“Earlier this year, the nature of communications between me and a former reporter became personal,” Nuzzi admitted in a statement to her former employer, the Daily Beast. “At the time, I did not report on the topic directly or use them as a source. The relationship was never physical, but should have been disclosed to avoid the appearance of a conflict.”

Hines has yet to officially comment on the latest news. On Instagram, the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star righted her crown by sharing photos of herself all dolled up at the Emmys on Sunday, her niece the “perfect” date.

It’s unclear whether the 58-year-old Miami Beach resident knew the bombshell was coming, but according to Page Six, she had been warned by friends about Jr.’s proclivities toward sex trafficking years ago.

Will the digital affair be the last straw for this power couple? The relationship has reportedly been rocked by at least one affair. Two months before they tied the knot, the 70-year-old political scion was linked to NYC socialite Chelsea Chapman Kirwan.

And during their union, Hines has often had to go into damage control mode: Her husband’s controversial stance on the COVID vaccine has raised more than a few eyebrows. Recently, disturbing stories surfaced about the former presidential candidate dumping a bear carcass in Central Park and decapitating a whale.

But perhaps the UCF alumnus will once again look the other way – until death do them part.

A little over a month ago, the comedic actress posted a photo of them on their wedding day (in the rain).

“You have given me a life I could never have imagined, full of love, laughter, joy and adventure,” the romantic tribute said. “In my darkest hours, you bring me light. I love you.”

The three-times married father of six denies any wrongdoing in the mess.

“Mr. Kennedy met Olivia Nuzzi only once in his life for an interview she requested, which resulted in a damning article,” his spokesman told NBC News.
