The women on this year’s list lead banks, lead the way in diversity, equality and inclusion, help customers invest and prevent cyber attacks and fraud.

Topping this year’s list is Hope Holding Bryant, vice president of First Citizens. After Silicon Valley Bank failed in March 2023 amid a broader banking crisis, Bryant played a key role in First Citizen’s acquisition of SVB.

The acquisition made First Citizens the 15th largest bank in the US. Recently it was recognized by American Banker as the best performing US bank with at least $50 billion in assets.
