    Texas player tries to plant flag in Michigan Stadium after big win

    ANN ARBOR — The artificial turf at Michigan Stadium didn’t stop a Texas player from planting a flag at midfield after Saturday’s win over the Wolverines.

    Texas linebacker David Gbenda carried a giant white flag with the burnt orange Longhorns logo to the “M” block on the 50-yard line. He attempted to swat the flag into the field, but it didn’t stay up and fell straight to the grass.
