Taylor Swift Spotted at First Chiefs Game Supporting Travis Kelce

Oh, here we go again: Taylor Swift is back at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs battle the Baltimore Ravens.

The “Tortured Poets” singer showed up at the first regular-season game Thursday night just before 6 p.m., a little over an hour before kickoff. Twitter videos showed the star walking through the back aisles of the stadium before taking an elevator to her suite. She wore a denim corset and shorts with shiny maroon thigh-high boots. Her blue top, designed by Versace, retails for $1,325.

In a video posted by Kansas City FOX4 sports director Rob Collins, Swift walked by and said, “Hi, how are you guys doing?”

The singer-songwriter is on a two-month break from her massive five-city Eras Tour. The superstar could potentially attend the first five games of the regular season before returning to the stage for nine nights in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis in late October and early November. She could potentially attend the Monday night game between the Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Nov. 4 and support the red and gold squad for five more games. Her final show in Toronto, Canada, on Dec. 8 falls on the same day as the Los Angeles Chargers game, but she could potentially make it to the final four games of the regular season.

Is Swift a lucky charm for the Chiefs?

In October, during a press conference, head coach Andy Reid admitted that the singer could be a good luck charm, while Swift was on screen for only 20 seconds during an NFL broadcast.

“Kelce will get better with time. Taylor can stick around as long as she wants,” he said.

Last year, the Chiefs’ record with Swift in attendance was 10-3:

  • September 24: Chiefs beat Bears 41-10
  • Oct. 1: Chiefs beat Jets 23-20
  • Oct 12: Chiefs beat Broncos 19-8
  • Oct 22: Chiefs beat Chargers 31-17
  • Dec 3: Packers beat Chiefs 27-19
  • Dec 10: Bills beat Chiefs 20-17
  • Dec 17: Chiefs beat Patriots 27-17
  • Dec 25: Raiders beat Chiefs 20-14
  • Dec 31: Chiefs beat Bengals 25-17
  • Jan 13: Chiefs beat Dolphins 26-7
  • Jan 21: Chiefs beat Bills 27-24
  • Jan 28: Chiefs beat Ravens 17-10
  • Feb 11 Super Bowl: Chiefs beat 49ers 25-22

Kelce confirmed that Swift became fascinated with learning the rules of football after quarterback Patrick Mahomes told NBC’s Chris Simms that the singer “asks a lot of good questions” and “starts making plays.”

“I think what makes her so good at her craft is she’s so detailed in every aspect of it, from the lyrics to the music to even the releases and the music videos and everything,” Kelce said during an interview with “The Rich Eisen Show.” “She’s so detailed and a part of it that I think she was just curious about the craft. I know none of the plays have reached Coach (Andy) Reid yet, but if they ever do, I’ll make sure everyone knows it’s her creation.”

Where can you watch the Chiefs vs. Ravens game?

Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. ET. Fans can watch on NBC and Peacock.
