Summer temperatures continue on Tuesday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Temperatures will remain well above average in Nebraska on Tuesday. Windy and humid conditions are also expected. As for precipitation, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in eastern Nebraska, but strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in far western Nebraska by the late afternoon and evening. The above average temperatures will persist in eastern Nebraska until at least Friday.

A few isolated showers and thunderstorms Tuesday morning into early Tuesday afternoon. Mostly sunny, breezy, warm and humid this afternoon with highs in the 80s and 90s. South wind 10 to 20 mph with gusts near 30 mph.

Scattered thunderstorms possible Wednesday morning in eastern Nebraska. Partly to mostly sunny, breezy and remaining quite warm through the afternoon. Highs will be mainly in the 80s.
