Thursday is the start of the Street Vibrations Fall Rally.

The weather will be nice in the coming days, which many riders are looking forward to.

A few riders we spoke to earlier say they came from Hawaii because they didn’t want to miss this event.

“It’s fun to see all the stalls here and all the motorcycle gear and then go on some great rides. This is one of the best places in the world to ride with Virginia City, the Sierra Mountains and have a great time on the bikes, it is a beautiful place,” Russ Johnson said.

Event organizers expect more than 5,000 riders to come to the city and more than 35,000 people to attend the event.

Attending Street Vibrations is free and there’s lots of shopping, live music, food and drink and even a brand new aerial and ground stunt show.

Riders will also be throughout the city participating in poker runs and visiting other areas such as Carson City and Virginia City.

The event runs until Saturday evening from 10am to 10pm and on Sunday from 10am to 2pm.

As a reminder, there will be a lot of motorcyclists in the area, so be extra careful on the roads.
